1. Who we are
ClipKit ("we", "us") provides a brand-aware video pipeline platform. This policy explains how we process personal data when you use clipkit.app and related services, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.
2. Data we process
Depending on how you use ClipKit, we may process:
- Account data (email, name, authentication identifiers)
- Workspace and pipeline content you upload or generate
- Usage and technical data (logs, device/browser type, IP address)

We process this data to provide the service, secure accounts, improve the product, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Contract — providing the ClipKit service you signed up for
- Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, and product improvement (balanced against your rights)
- Consent — non-essential cookies and analytics (you can withdraw consent anytime)
- Legal obligation — where required by applicable law
5. International transfers
We use subprocessors that may process data outside the EEA (for example cloud hosting, AI providers, and Google Analytics). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. You may delete your account and associated workspace data from settings where available.
7. Your rights
If GDPR applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access, rectify, or erase your personal data
- Restrict or object to certain processing
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing)
- Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@clipkit.app.
